GasRecord Android phone application v. 1.10 released

This new version adds support for generating PDF reports of stored data. The new Reports menu item and view gives options for two reports currently, but more will be added. 1) A detail report of all gas purchases for all vehicles by date and 2) A detail report of an individual vehicle including totals and averages of each category. The PDF reports are stored in a file named GasReport_YYYY-MM-DD_HH-MM-SS on your SD drive. If a PDF viewer is installed on your phone, it will also display automatically. The report options include setting date ranges, page size, and font. From a user request, the cost per distance is also reported.

An Android application to help First Lego League teams from the 2010 Body Forward season to calculate their scores. This program was updated from last year's version by Mark Asp (8th grade Lego League team member of Half Sane from Heritage Christian Academy, Maple Grove, Minnesota) The app includes the ability to save scores and graph your improvements during the season.

I found and fixed the mysterious Samsung phone bug, so hopefully we're past the force close errors. Also added decimal point input and output for the odometer field and added more range for octane at user's request. Keep the requests coming to make this program better!

A bug fix for force close errors on some phones. Several users have reported problems on some phones. I'm sorry that I don't have access to all models, so it will take me some time to find all of the bugs. Please email me with your reports, including the phone and when the error occurs and I'll try to squash them quickly.

A gas tracking program for multiple vehicles. With only a few keystrokes, you can record gas purchases and calculate gas mileage.
View with list or map views using GPS data. Back up to your SD card and export report data to Excel. Units include MPG, km/l, even lb of carbon dioxide per mile. Reports and the ability to share gas price data coming soon.

An update that adds the ability to store scores. The scores are saved by touching the save menu item. A list view is added that lists scores by date and time. Scores can be edited by touching the score or deleted by touching and holding the score.

An update that corrects a scoring error in the walls. Upright walls can score only with a corresponding down marker. Version 1.0 made scores for markers conditional on walls being down instead.
Three Heritage Christian Academy Teams Compete at State Tournament

Three of the five First Lego League teams from Heritage Christian Academy, located in Maple Grove, Minnesota, competed at the Minnesota State Tournament on January 30, 2010.
"Half Sane," the 7th grade team, won a Judges trophy and was a top three team in programming and teamwork.
The 6th grade team, "Steel Claws," won the Division 1 research presentation trophy and 3rd place robot performance trophy.
The 5th grade team, "Brick Masters, won 2nd place in the Division 1 research presentation category.

An Android phone application to help First Lego League teams calculate their score is released. It is based on the 2009 "Smart Move" Challenge.
Teams simply click on the categories and the score is tabulated.
The application can be downloaded from any Android phone free using Android Market.

Three of the five First Lego League teams from Heritage Christian Academy, located in Maple Grove, Minnesota, have advanced to the Minnesota State Tournament, scheduled for January 30, 2010.
"Half Sane," the 7th grade team, placed first in Division 2 and won a first place programming award.
The 6th grade team, "Steel Claws," placed first in Division 1 and won a first place programming award and first place research award.
The 5th grade team, "Brick Masters, also advanced.
